We take exceptional pride in every dish we create here at Doosra. We use top quality ingredients in order to achieve amazing flavours and textures. We support British farms, all our Lamb served is Organic from Coombe Farm and all our chicken is Free Range direct from Springfield Poultry.
We specialise in Tandoori & Curry dishes. We employ a real coal fired tandoor to give our tandoor dishes that distinctive smoky flavour. Our Head Chef serves up his secret family recipes, North Indian curries, as well as a few signature dishes. We cook in small batches to ensure consistency and quality. We grind our own spices weekly to ensure our dishes really pop with flavour, we make everything in-house, including our sauces.
Can I order a takeaway for delivery or collection?
Great news! You can order our food for home delivery via Deliveroo! Download the App now! In future we may be available on Deliveroo even on days when our restaurant is shut, keep an eye out for us!

Is your Poultry & Meat Free Range or Organic?

Consumers can also purchase meat & poultry from our suppliers, simply go online, choose your cuts and it will be delivered fresh & direct to your door!
Is your meat & poultry Halal?
Unfortunately our meat & poultry is not Halal as we do not anticipate a large demand for Halal meat in our area. However we will increase our vegetarian and seafood options going forward in order to offer people from diverse cultures an inclusive opportunity to dine here.
Can we bring our children?
Yes you can! Please also bear in mind that we have limited space inside the restaurant to park push chairs, wheelchair access must be respected. We currently have only one baby booster seat.
Why are you only open 3 days a week?
Times have changed, labour is in short supply and therefore it is very expensive to run a full service restaurant early in the week, when it is typically quite. Despite our restaurant being closed on Wednesdays and Sundays you may find us available on Deliveroo or try popping in for takeaway.
We make everything in house, so we are very confident about the information we provide. All our products are free from artificial colourings and preservatives, except for a couple of bought in condiments. We do not keep any peanuts or sesame seeds in our kitchen as we deem these products to pose a life threatening risk to a minority of severe allergy sufferers. The nuts we commonly use in our cooking are Almonds, Cashew & Pistachio; therefore a small possibility of trace cross contamination is possible unfortunately. This of course is also the case with all the other allergens listed.
